Post 5: My Future Job

Imagen
Post 5: My Future Job  I don't like to think about what kind of job I would like to have because I know the current situation of employability of the career I am studying, that is, journalism. I don't think I can imagine my dream job because I am aware that I will have to have several jobs at once in order to support myself. However, I would like one of these jobs to be in the documentary or audiovisual area, since I like it quite a lot. This would allow me to travel and get to know realities that I could later capture in a documentary.  At the same time, I would like to work doing journalistic research, which could be the pillars of my audiovisual works. I would do these in written form, and I would like them to be published in books or articles.  On the other hand, I would still like to have an office job because they have office hours, which is very rare among the jobs a journalist can apply for.  However, I think I will do a postgraduate degree in document...

Post 4: My Pet

Imagen
My pet I have 3 pets: My cat Clara (8 years old), my dog Mona (4 years old) and my cat Memi (6 months old).  However, only Clara is MY pet. I've had her since she was born, because she is the daughter of a cat I had, whose name was Crayola. Clara was the second of three, her brothers were called Atun and Negrito, unfortunately both of them have passed away.  Clara is 8 years old and is a big cat. She is black with white and has yellow eyes, her paws and her nose are pink.  Clara is very expressive; her face tells you how she feels immediately. Also, she is very jealous of me. Clara hates my boyfriend; she looks at him with a hateful face.  She is everything to me, we really have a special connection. My family usually says that she has the same personality as me. Even though I don't see her every day anymore because I live in another city, she spends most of her time in my room. I miss her very much.

Post 3; The best song ever

Kashmir   The best song in history for me is Kashmir by the group Led Zepellin, this song was written by Robert Plant while driving his car through the Sahara desert. Musically I think it is a song that composes all the sounds that characterize Led Zepellin. According to the band itself, this song is one of their best musical achievements, not only for its strength, but also because it was so intense without having to occupy common elements and sounds of heavy metal. The song focuses on a progression of guitar, bass and drums chords, also includes many sound patterns of Moroccan music and Middle Eastern culture, accompanied by an orchestra with stringed instruments and metal. In 1973, Jimmy Page entered a state of musical quest and began changing the tuning of his guitar, which he ended up adjusting to a tuning often used on Middle Eastern instruments. Interestingly, the name of the song "Kashmir" refers to a region north of the Himalayas and not to Morocco, b...

Post N°2 The best Holidays/Concert ever

Imagen
On April 4, 2017 I saw my favorite band since 2012, The 1975. The original date of the concert was going to be September 27, 2016, but they had to reschedule it. This was at the Movistar  Arena in Santiago.   This is an alternative rock band from the UK. It consists of Matty Healy, Ross MacDonald, Adam Hann and George Daniel. They have 4 albums and 4 EPs.   In 2016 I lived in front of O'Higgins Park, so I got in line very early as it was on a first come first served basis and so I managed to get very close to the stage.   At the concert, Matty Healy, the vocalist, instead of drinking water, drank wine and threw cigarettes at the audience. I managed to take one of Matty's cigarettes and smoked it inside.   I enjoyed the concert very much because I love this band, and on that occasion,  they presented my favorite album: The 1975. I knew all the songs by heart, the best concert of my life!

POST 1 A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Imagen
I would like to go to Greece because I find it a very interesting country for its historical and cultural richness. It is also a small country, so I could visit many places.    What I know about Greece so far is that this country is considered the cradle of western civilization. Furthermore, I have always been fascinated by the history of Pompeii and the volcanic eruption that occurred on Mount Vesuvius. And on the other hand, Greece is also famous for its beaches. I would like to visit Greek beaches like Santorini, the Jonikas Islands and of course go to Pompeii. I would also love to know Mykonos, Milo, Nauplia, Rhodes, Corfu and Oda, between other destinations.   Honestly, I wouldn't like to live in Greece, partly because of the language and also because I don't like the beach so much. I think it would be a place I would like more to go on vacation and spend some time there.
