Post 3; The best song ever
Kashmir
The best
song in history for me is Kashmir by the group Led Zepellin, this song was
written by Robert Plant while driving his car through the Sahara desert.
Musically I think it is a song that composes all the sounds that characterize
Led Zepellin.
According
to the band itself, this song is one of their best musical achievements, not
only for its strength, but also because it was so intense without having to
occupy common elements and sounds of heavy metal.
The song
focuses on a progression of guitar, bass and drums chords, also includes many
sound patterns of Moroccan music and Middle Eastern culture, accompanied by an
orchestra with stringed instruments and metal.
In 1973,
Jimmy Page entered a state of musical quest and began changing the tuning of
his guitar, which he ended up adjusting to a tuning often used on Middle
Eastern instruments.
Interestingly,
the name of the song "Kashmir" refers to a region north of the
Himalayas and not to Morocco, but it is certainly a song that contributed to
the growth of Progressive Rock. This song is undoubtedly an anthem for fans of
Led Zeppelin, 8 minutes of a song that is a traveler in space / time and a
sound experimentation that contributed much to the history of Rock.

I love this song too much, I agree that it is one of the best in the history of rock
